A cheap motel near lots public transportation and service staff friendly. House keeping good rooms ok for cost

Breezeway rocks! Love it here, in spite of the M-C-M furnishings and 'well-loved' appearance of the buildings' exteriors.nnThe surrounding neighborhood is some commercial/ some residential. A nice mix of small locally owned businesses and bigger chains and franchises. In addition, Fairfax Blvd is well serviced by the local and regional bus services and shuttles.nnThe rooms are spacious and moderately appointed. I have been well-pleased with the hospitality staff and their general demeanor and professionalism.nnI encourage anyone looking for somewhere to stay other than 'big box'-type lodgings to consider the Breezeqay--you won't be disappointed!
I was with a friend and his brother who had not seen their father in almost a year. Right after we got out and parked, we were immediately harassed by one of the employees asking us why there were 4 people staying in one room. I tried to rationally explain to him (before getting interrupted repeatedly) that I was not staying (my friend wasn’t as well) but we were hanging out for a little bit ( my friends brother and his father were staying.) He then told me whoever was not staying had 1 hour to leave or the police were going to be called. We were only in the room for 20 minutes or so, but the whole time they were looking up at us in our room and my friends vehicle. definitely would not recommend this place. I don’t even think they cleaned the room, as it reeked of cigarettes. The place is run down and very old.
