Kirkley Hotel

Pool is open for reservations, which is really nice. Staff was very kind/helpful when we were there. Lobby is gorgeous. Rooms were okay. Nothing special, but seemed clean. Breakfast was served as safely as possible and with hand sanitizer and disposable gloves provided and food taken back to your room. We had two small issues. They were not super helpful on the phone when we called to make reservations and the beds didn't have top sheets. I know it's a cleanliness issue and I meant to ask the front desk about it but the phone in the room didn't seem to be connected and we were exhausted.

Very quaint hotel with an old historical vibe. Pros is that it's affordable, safe, free breakfast, indoor pool, gym, and they have big white fluffy towels. Cons is that the beds are semi firm, pillows are small, and it's an old building that needs some renovations. Overall it's a 3.5 hotel great value and I would definitely stay again if the price was right.

Wow! Do not let the pictures fool you. We ended up getting a refund and changing hotels immediately after arriving.nnFirst off why would you have a young woman working alone at night - Literally no one else there with her!nnWalk outside to bring bags in and a taxi pulls up with these two people who were asking to use our credit card to book their stay - sketchy!!!nnNo amenities were available minus the pool which was being used by people who were not even guests staying at the hotel - whole family left on foot!nnDo not recommend booking with them anytime soon!

It was probably a very nice facility in the past but now it is an older hotel with some deferred maintenance and worn surfaces and carpets. Rooms fair to average. No daily maid service so had to ask front desk for clean towels. No kleenax in room, beds had no top sheet which the front desk provided on our request, and no exhaust fan in bathroom. The toilets are rather low and could present a problem for older guests. On the other hand the meal and the service for the wedding rehearsal dinner was excellent. Sort of a mixed bag. Due to the pandemic the restaurant was closed and breakfast was only fair to passable. Once the restaurant can reopen things should get better.

The front desk clerk, Linda Christians, is an amazing lady! She was so polite and helpful!!!nOnly reason why I gave hotel 4 stars is because of renovations. I'm sure when it's finished it'll totally be a 5 star hotel!!!
