Quality Suites Altavista - Lynchburg South

This room is ok, until you look closer. The refrigerator is broken and rusted. It has a gap at the top so you can't freeze things (a requirement for ice packs for lunches. My boyfriend is here for work for 5 days). The bathroom is poorly maintained. The tub drips water constantly, wasteful! The bed is hard and makes for a horrible nights sleep. Definitely NOT Quality!

The only good thing was a receptionist named Pat, she was really nice and helped me alot, I enjoyed talking to her everytime I seen her before leaving for work

Pat was great but the room should have been half price. The refrigerator and the microwave smell and I had to plug out, the original towels place in the room had to be changed out.

My main reason for giving my stay a 2 was NO ONE WORN A MASK. Front Desk (all 3 shifts), Housekeeping, Dining Area, and contractors that was working there. No signs about social distances was displayed. Do not get me wrong I had no problems except Housekeeping came in my room and I had to sanitize my room all over again. My room was clean, towels was dingy , bathtub to me was not that clean even after HK supposed to have cleaned it and the last thing I saw a roach in the dinning area by the coffee. Please have all staff members and guests wear a MASK that should be a requirement not a request. This Quality Inn Is a unsafe environment and a potential risk for the spread of COVID-19

Convienent to Rt. 29 and the Town of Altavista, VA. The King suite was large enough for two people to be comfortable. The bed was hard, but we slept well.
