I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Pruitt House Inn earlier this month with my husband. The home & rooms are exactly as pictures on their website. The room was immaculate, spacious and comfortable. The hosts, Debbie and Dee were very friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to share info and background about the house (I was particularly interested because my dad grew up there.) And provided a generous and delicious breakfast. We will go back.

The Pruitt House is a perfect escape from all things work related. On the edge of a small Va town and surrounded by nature it is filled with country home charm. We hung with friends, went hiking, did lots of cooking (they have a skillet version of every dish imaginable. :)nnThe hosts are very gracious and were attentive to our needs. They also provided excellent recommendation on things to do. I would 100% recommend staying at the Pruitt House.

This was one of the best decisions ever. I made a reservation here after seeing all the great reviews in Hope's they were true. They were. The home made hot breakfest was just what we needed after a long 10 hour drive the night before. The host was the sweetest southern grandma who made you feel at home the second you walked in. The house itself was beautiful and a step back in time. The work put into the house was well spent. The beds were not beds but the softest clouds. The parking was great too. Being in the process of cross country moving and having all my belongings with me was a worrisome thing when it came to where the car would be at night. Rest assured though. The house sits down a long gravel road surrounded by horse farms. This was the perfect retreat in every way. Would give 10 stars and for sure telling all my family about how awesome this was.

My husband and I spent a relaxing weekend at this lovely home. Our goal was to go fishing, but we got a lot more. This historic home has been enthusiastically restored by the owners, our room was clean and comfortable, and the homemade country breakfast was soooo... delicious. The owners were very cordial and went out of their way to make sure that we enjoyed our stay. We plan to make this our regular place to stay when visiting the area and have already recommended it to others.
