Iris Inn & Cabins

This is a lovely place in the middle of all the action Virginia has to offer. It’s very close to the southern entrance to Shenandoah National Park and tons of hiking. It’s also in the middle of the wine country with tons of wineries to visit. The staff at the hotel is wonderful, warm, and accommodating. Facilities are clean, beautiful, and comfortable. They have put many Covid 19 measures in place that made the stay very safe and smooth. I think that once they can open the spa and dining/bar, it will be a wonderful place to hang out!

Beyond the absolutely gorgeous view, Iris Inn treats you like royalty and family at the same time. The cabin was immaculate, with up to date appliances, comfortable furniture, any plenty of room to enjoy a getaway. The breakfasts are out-of-this-world delicious!! Little things like Fiji water and heated bathroom floors set this bed and breakfast (which truly is an understatement) apart. The staff ensure you have everything you need to escape to a blissful oasis on the mountain.

This place was amazing! Wanted to get away for a few days with my boyfriend and we absolutely loved it! Our host Matt made sure our stay was enjoyable from beginning to end. Comfortable bed, great breakfast, our room was perfect! Definitely planning to come back in the near future.

Lovely stay! Very good with Covid distancing. We loved our time there. The breakfast delivery was perfect. I hope they continue that perk in the after times. The view in the Garden Path Cottage was beautiful, especially at sunset. Would have loved to stay in the cabins but only the cottages are pet-friendly.

What a gem right here in the Shenandoah Valley!! My husband and I recently spent a long weekend at the Iris Inn and came away feeling so pampered and refreshed - which is amazing, given that we are on month 11 of a pandemic with 3 little kids! We originally booked a cabin for 2 nights, but had a last-minute opportunity to book a third. The staff were so accommodating and really went above and beyond to make sure we got all 3 nights in one room. We ended up only leaving the cabin for lunch, and otherwise didn't see another human the entire time we were there. But we were certainly not neglected - between the wine and cheese upon arrival, breakfast delivered to our door, daily phone calls/texts to see if we needed anything/reminders to order our breakfast, etc., we felt very well taken care of. And the cabin itself was simply phenomenal - we spent our days lazing in bed and our evenings either by the fireplace in the sitting area or the hot tub on the deck. It was exactly what this very tired mom and dad of three little ones needed at exactly this time. We WILL be back!
