The Blackburn Inn and Conference Center

My girlfriend and I came here to spend our 7 year anniversary and it was well worth it! We were really impressed with the service and how well the room was clean! They left a 7 year anniversary card! If you ever come through the area, I would highly recommend the Black Burn! We will be back!

Richard and his team at The Black Burn Inn are amazing! You will feel welcomed and so well taken care of. They saved the day for us after a local group in Staunton cancelled our rehearsal dinner the day before our event. I can't thank them enough for the kind approach and for going the extra mile to make us each feel special. We will be back!

Pet-friendly, cozy rooms and a history behind it to read about. We stayed at Blackburn Inn after hiking Humpback Rocks. The brand new Blackburn Spa was gorgeous - the massage therapists made sure we were comfy, relaxed and well taken care of. A perfect weekend getaway! The snow in the morning was “icing” on the top.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff were very friendly and accommodating . The breakfast was good and the delivery options nearby were pretty decent. Had a great time exploring the grounds even though they were creepy at night. The place is steeped in history. Overall, I would come again. Also, pet friendly.

Our deluxe queen room significantly differs from the photos advertised—and not in a good way. Obviously with historic hotels one cannot expect all layouts to be identical (and I did not) ...I don’t see an option to post photos, but our actual restroom compared with the one shown on the website for the deluxe queen room illustrates my point best— site shows a large double shower all glass...we have a single stall with a flimsy curtain rod. Disappointing.
