Orlesa Farms

Orlesa Farms is in a perfect location to travel the area around Staunton. It is quiet, private, and cozy. We enjoyed a continental breakfast provided in our room, a warm fireplace and an amazing view of the pasture and the mountains beyond. You have our hearty recommendation!

I do not write reviews. I just don't. But a simple act of kindness impressed me so much that I felt compelled to make an exception (more on that later). My husband, daughter, and I recently stayed here for a weekend. We were in a well-appointed suite that was comfortable and spotless. The only negative comment about the room was that the fireplace wasn't working during our stay, but, really, it was no big deal because we were mostly outside (despite the chilly weather) looking at the cows grazing in an amazing field that backs up to the guest house. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. All staff we encountered were very pleasant and accommodating. We will definitely return. Now for the act prompting this review. A few days after our return we received a package from the inn. I had no idea what it was. My college-age daughter would have alerted us if she left something behind. My husband said nothing to anyone, but he was the one who left a jacket behind. Inn staff simply mailed the jacket, without a single word from us. That kindness truly blew me away, hence this review.

5 star, silver spoon, beautiful place to stay. Everything was immaculate and top notch. Robes and bath salts, sodas and waters in the fridge cookies and netflix. Come here to relax! The views were like paintings and the beds are admirably clean soft and white. So white. I love this place and will tell everyone near Virginia!

We enjoyed the most wonderful stay at the Inn at WestShire Farms this past week. Katherine and Brian were gracious and welcoming hosts. Since the Farm's schedule allowed, Katherine and Brian even made a last-minute change to ensure our comfort. The rooms were lovely, inviting, and restful. And when Katherine and Brian describe one of their rooms as physically accessible, they truly mean it. The Middlesex room offers a lovely and fully accessible sanctuary. Our breakfast was delicious, and our entire stay was peaceful and restful. We look forward to returning.

Wow! Words cannot do justice.nnSecond trip this year. The first time we were passing by and stumbled on The Farm by accident. It was cold, rainy but so beautiful then that we made the plan to come back as soon as we could. We decided on Fall. The weather was cool, the flowers were beautiful and the cows grazing on the hill... with the sunrise behind them were a picture to keep in our memory books forever.nnOnce again, Brian and Katherine went above and beyond to make our trip unbelievable. She customized reservations for us throughout the trip. She suggested things to do in town and we purchased their picnic basket package for our day of adventure on Skyline Drive.nnOur room is now our scheduled room for whenever we go. The breakfasts each morning were amazing and beautifully presented. This Inn is no longer a stop over, but our destination. Already checking dates to go back, will be prebooking reservations by the end of the weekend.nnThe accommodations are amazing, the attention to detail and reasonable costs for such 5+ star service, we are hooked!nnWe now feel like we are staying at a friend's beautiful farm in the country. We are so glad we met Katherine and Brian.
