We spent one night, wish it was longer. The owners, Judy and Bill, are the salt of the earth. They make you feel like you are one of the family. The accommodations are 100% clean, comfortable and quaint. The scenery is peaceful. Loved it.

My husband and I were finally able to make up our trip to Meadowcroft after having to postpone due to covid last year. This family operated business is a special place. Bill took us on a tour of the working farm, and showed us the detailed work and history of the beautiful log cabins that comprise the property. They have restored every detail beautifully, and have taken time to furnish the rooms with unique and interesting antiques. The hosts were more than accommodating and helpful, whatever odd request we had for them. We'll be back to enjoy the Inn in the springtime. Thanks for having us, Bill! See you soon

Meadowcroft Inn was the best part of our year. My husband and I took our daughters (13 and almost 15) for a 3 day getaway and absolutely loved it. It is beautifully decorated, rustic, warm and cozy. The rooms are very comfortable and our daughters didn't want to leave. The owners (Bill and Judie) were so warm and welcoming and the breakfast every morning was excellent. Jane our hostess could not have been kinder to us. The surrounding area of Staunton is a 10 minute drive from the Inn and has an incredible food scene, there are a lot of hiking trails and horseback riding, and the natural bridge in Lexington is an hour away (worth seeing). If you are looking for a getaway in the Shenandoah Valley, this is definitely the place to stay. Also, don't forget to stock up on the Inn's jellies, pickles, and sandwich spreads on your way out. We loved being there!

If you want to spend time exploring the Southern Shenandoah, this is a great place to stay and enjoy the region. Our room was nice and the hosts were great.nnThe drive to Staunton only takes a few minutes for restaurants, museums, and brewerys.nnLooking forward to another future visit.

I brought my wife here for a special birthday weekend.nnThis is a beautiful setting for anyone planning a getaway. The Inn is well maintained and there is great attention to detail in its upkeep. The hosts are very attentive. My wife and I had a lovely time.nnFor those needing internet, high-speed (gigabit) Internet is available via wifi in the rooms. We did some Netflix streaming and it worked great.
