I hate to have to post this review but after today’s visit to th CVS on Main Street I feel the need to share my disappointment. I have been a customer of CVS for several years. I take numerous medications so I frequent this store often. I am sick and tired of the horrible customer service skills in the pharmacy. I need to point out that the customer service in the retail portion of the store is fantastic. The pharmacy obviously has a long culture of poor customer service. Today’s visit was not exceptionally bad but it was another example of them being rude and making me feel that I am either lying to them or bothering them. This has to stop. We are you customer. We are the reason that you are in business. We are the ones that buy our medication from you so that you can remain in business. Please stop treating us like we are bothering you when we attempt a business transaction. This includes the drive through. I am tired of the rolling eyes, the simple questions that have obvious derogatory meanings. I am tired of them being so short and so rude.nnAs this is a review then I will offer this to the readers....I do not recommend this pharmacy to you. The staff is short, rude, make you feel like you are lying or a bother. The wait times in the drive through are horrible and they do not follow up on requests as they state that they will. I hope that they improve or I will take my business else where.
Never had such bad customer service from a pharmacist. She knew I was trying to get to my husband ASAP after his surgery (which I could not be with him for due to Covid restrictions), but would not expedite filling his prescriptions. Dr called them in at 4pm and they are still not ready. It’s 6:47pm and they close at 7. She told me there are 14 Rx’s to fill before mine would be filled.
There are a FEW nice employees here. Most are surly or downright rude. I have never left a negative review before, but after our latest experience felt it fair to warn others.nnMy doctor called in an inhaler for asthma on Thursday mid afternoon. I did not receive a text letting me know it was ready, but showed up Friday around 10:00 AM. The man helping me could not speak English clearly and I had a difficult time understanding him. He also had me repeat things and told me not to go so fast, so he was having a difficult time understanding me as well. After much back and forth he told me they did not have the medication and that I would have to wait until Monday. (THEY SHOULD HAVE CALLED AND TOLD ME THIS THE DAY BEFORE!!!) When I said it was for asthma, he said I could drive to the other CVS and get it there, that it is a very common drug. (Then why don’t they have it? And why didn’t they call snd get it from the other CVS as they have done several times in the past when they did not have a medication my husband needed?) You don’t mess around with an asthma inhaler! Mine is not severe, but they did not know that!nnMy husband went in later and after arguing and being rude with him they did call CVS on W Broad, where he got the medicine with no problem and was treated much kinder.nnOne time I was lectured at the drive through for going through the COVID testing lane when I was just picking up a prescription. THERE WAS A UTILITY TRUCK BLOCKING THE NONCOVID TESTING LANE. When I pointed that out I was told she knew that...???nnWe are DONE with CVS on Main St after dealing with this particular store for years. The service has gotten poorer and poorer. I highly recommend NOT getting your prescriptions filled here!
Very lazy and rude pharmacy staff. Go to West Broad, you get treated way better. Pathetic
If I could review without a rating it would be a negative. I did not want to switch my prescriptions to this location because I had problems years ago . Due to change in Insurace plan I was forced to use CVS .nThe pharmacist is a smug A@@ .nI had spoke with a female in the pharmacy who stated someone put in a wrong refill date , 90 days vs 60 day supply . Tried for three days to resolve. Pharmacist Shelton advises me I could wait out the prescription or find a new pharmacy. Not a problem ... I will pay full price and move right on down the road .nI would say this shocked me but when you see the other reviews for this establishment... I’m just one of the many ud83eudd37♀ufe0f
