What a fun place with great views! I was excited when I heard the Lazy Z Ranch was bought by new owners, and after meeting John I was happy to know he wished to share the ranch with others. I’ve gone riding at the ranch many times now, and I love how laid back the atmosphere is. Beautiful views, interesting terrain, friendly owners and boarders. There are many pastures to ride in, and boarders can choose pasture herd board or paddock board. I love it there because there isn’t the drama of other boarding barns, roaming is encouraged, and the views truly are unbeatable.

Such a fabulous place to stay and enjoy Sisters and surrounding areas! We brought all three of our toddlers and they had a blast running around in the fields, looking at the horses they had on the property and exploring the ranch. I hear they now have goats on the property as well which my kids are super excited to go back and visit!nnMore importantly my husband and I had the most relaxing time! The views from the main house are incredible and my favorite part of the day was just relaxing in the cozy leather armchair or rocking chair while drinking coffee. I literally just cozied up while watching the sun come up over the mountains and fields, it was fantastic. This place would be ideal for any event or large retreat also ... it made me want to get married again so we could do it on the property. The photo's alone would be so much fun at that place! We will definitely be back to stay again. They have a huge main house with a fireplace that is incredible, pool table, dining area with what looked like a pizza oven area or brick rotisserie... I'm not sure what it is really but it just makes for a really cozy and fun environment.nnIt's a must stay if you are planning a visit! We will be back regularly to enjoy the experience again and again.

The views are unbeatable! What a fun location for a ranch and the owners are working hard to revitalize the original ranch while innovating ideas. We were able to visit with our toddler who loved the mountains (and can name several now) as much as the horses, goats and bees. The sunsets were amazing!nnThe owners are very responsive to needs of guests and we saw them quick to respond to potential local horse boarders, neighbors and other local farmers/ranchers. They are very intentional in becoming a part of the Sisters community by supporting local small businesses and non-profits with their regular shoutouts on social media. Can't wait to visit again!

My fiance and I were impressed with this ranch and gorgeous property, just a few minutes outside the quaint town of Sisters. We found the owners to be nice and easy to talk to and could sense their commitment to restoring the property in a way that's both beautiful and sustainable. We had fun helping plant blackberry bushes on the property and tending to the goats!

I have to start by saying the panoramic mountain views from the ranch are out of the world and make it a special place to be. It was such a great experience seeing how the ranch is being transformed and getting to see the animals and the honey bees up close. Oh, and the goats were so funny. I can't wait to go back!
