LLoyd is a man of his word. We had to cancel our stay last minute due to some events that came up last minute and he worked with us. Good man and from what I saw, the resort is lovely.
Beautiful! I've never been able to kick my shoes off and enjoy the nice green grass between my toes while camping before! Great hosts! Very accommodating. Shifted our spots around so we could all be together. There was also wood provided with a nice well kept fire pit. Bath houses were clean. Took a short drive to hike a natural bridge. Great experience all around!
Our family spent a lovely week on our 3 generation family trip. Toddler to age 70. There are a variety of group events throughout the day, but feel free to do some independent hiking and relaxing. The location is just beautiful!nI don't think anyone could go hungry with 3 family style meals served daily and all had a nice variety.nIf you're looking for hotel amenities like room service, and meals on your timeline this isn't the right place (there are kitchens in the cabins though).nLooking to unplug? Are you able to respect a few house rules (which are quite reasonable, like staying with good friends), and look forward to being captivated by the beautiful scenery and people around you? This is the right place.nMy son was just 16 months old when we went. He became sure-footed walking on dirt roads and climbing rocks, he road a horse! We saw deer on hikes...we have wonderful memories of the place and people we met.
So peaceful. Love this place. Will be back.
Not ever going to pay $200ish for this.
