Very spacious and scenic Core of Engineers campground with low rates. Seniors pay half. $10 - Right next to the very scenic and impressive Lake Peck dam. Park has big sites with very good pads for all types of RV's. Electric to some of the sites. Water and Sewer on site but not to your site. Do take bug spray though as this area has lots and lots of fresh water and is thick with biting bugs. Once I put on bug spray everything went fine. Bring your best camera. There are many opportunities for photos here. Very nice staff. The COE museum next door to the campground is big and really worth visiting, plus free. The tour of the power station for the dam is free too. Be sure to go. Lots of fishing in this area. This area is remote and worth the trip.nnThe photo is from just back of the campground. I am going to post more photos under Fort Peck.

Great Family Campground - Would Definitely Visit AgainnOur family reserved the back loop near a fishing pond, several docks line the pond for fishing. Had the whole loop to ourselves and a playground right in the middle for the kids to play. Pavilion with picnic tables, a large charcoal grill right next to it, and a campfire ring with 2 benches surrounding it. Ideal for group gatherings. Camper sites are large and have a cement patio/cement table/fire pit within convenient access to your camper. Bathroom/shower facility within easy waking distance-well maintained & clean. Large, shady trees provide a way to gather and escape the sun. We had children ages 1.5-teens and all had a blast! Oh, and a well maintained asphalt path loops all the way around the entire campground-ideal for biking or even just waking.

Great place to stay... beautiful spacious camp sites. New bathrooms and showers. Only complaint is only 1 of the showers has good water pressure. But there are 4 showers and they are nice and clean.

Tent camping perspective, in late September: This was a gem. We reserved a drive up spot - it had plenty of grassy space to choose from to pitch our tent. The spacing and distance between sites is generous. The trees provided some nice interference from the MT wind, and the morning's full sun. It was a distance from a main road, so no downshifting trucks! The bathrooms were new and clean (altho a bit of a walk from some sites) and the potable water was nearby. The camp host was very friendly and available. Our tenting & RV neighbors were a pretty quiet group. We didn't make use of the fire pit (ban in place) or the showers, but they are available. The landscape around the reservoir is beautiful. Nearby coyote antics woke us up a couple times, but that's in the plus column for us.

Large grassy sites and most are shady. Good value with water & electric for $20! Most of those in the campground had boats. We just road our bikes around on the trail system around the campground. Make sure to go to the free interpretive center!
