Motel 6 Dillon MT

The room was very spacious and clean. The check in and check out could not have been easier or more efficient. Everything in the room worked well, the bed was very comfortable. There is no gross carpet like you see in many motels, but clean laminate flooring instead. For a motel that is very affordable, it is also very comfortable. We have stayed in other Motels where we paid more and they were not as good. For a Motel 6, I was very impressed.

The room was nice. Would have been nice to have a fridge and a microwave in the room to heat and cool things down. The amount of blankets was good. Would be nice to have one extra for people that get cold and don't want the heater cranked up.

Great place for the motel. It’s very quiet. Only complaints we’ve got is the fact that the lock on 101 needs to be replaced. There is no security with the entry door. It obviously has had extensive damage.nnThe heater in the room needs some TLC. There is no happy medium in this room. It’s either hot or cold. The thermostat does not allow for the heater to get room to temp and then have a cool down period where it turns back on and blows some heat for awhile then kicks off. It made for miserable sleep.... hot, cold and the floors were so cold that you didn’t dare walk on the floor without some sort of shoe on your foot. Thank god for the dollar store and cheap slippers!nnThe ice machine was broke. We stayed there for four nights and no ice, coffee only until 10 am and nothing for continental breakfast?!nnI say, raise your prices and fix what needs to be fixed and done the right way. Have some breakfast for guests and next time I’m in Dillon you’ll get five stars.nnI do like the route you are going with redecorating the rooms. Very modern but if nothing else works I’m not sure you’ll ever have return guests that do have family that lives there!

We were forced here because I-15 was shut down, I opted to get a room while we wait out the storm to keep my kids (who are already sick) warm. We got here at 2:30 and she made us wait till 3 to get the key (even though we could see into our room window and it was clean and empty). All this knowing its freezing outside and I had kids. Then we finally get our key and walk in and the room is just as cold as it is outside, two hours later and the heat is kicking out luke warm air. I call down to the office to ask about space heaters, nope! She admits they know the heaters don't work well. So I ask for extra blankets...they don't have any! Are you kidding me? You know your heaters don't work and you don't have extra blankets? She proceeds to tell me its not her fault she just works here?!?! If I had any other option I would be packing my kids up and demanding my money back, this is ridiculous! If you have a choice do not stay here! I will never visit a motel 6 again after this.

I was not expecting much, and indeed, the room is sparse, but it has all of the essentials a traveler needs for a short stay. Everything in the room was in good repair. The entire room was very clean. Internet access remained fast through the evening. I was concerned about their pet friendly policy but there was no sign that an animal has ever been in the room.nnFor long-duration stays in one hotel, I will probably select a more upscale property. But, for stays like this one where I get in late, leave early, and only need a place to sleep and a clean bathroom in the morning to get started for the day, a Motel 6 is now high on my list of places to consider.
