Walmart Pharmacy

Somewhat frustrated that I am unable to pick up prescription at the 6am pharmacy time previously listed. Spoke to Store manager, Ben, requesting that the hours be updated online. It is now updated, to reflect the correct time. Thanks, Ben!

They are uselly behind and on my last perscipction is was short on my pain medication not impressed

I just had surgery. And the pharmacist wouldn’t fill my prescription for pain meds because of a medication I had gotten from them YEARS ago. So apparently my orthopedic surgeon isn’t as smart as the PHARMACIST that was working. Because his “professional” opinion was NOT to give me a prescription for my pain after a surgery. Stupid.

I have not encountered a tech there that seems to enjoy their job, which is a bummer. I hope they find jobs that better suit their needs and don't result in them being short, unresponsive, and overall rude with their customers. I get it, not a lot of people enjoy going to work, but a one minute phone call about a prescription shouldn't inconvenience you that much. And I've witnessed them on several occasions being extra rude to people who many have added questions- these are prescriptions we're dealing with, it's important to know everything about the medication before you put it in your body- sorry, that's too much to ask of pharmacy techs. They aren't very on top of keeping you in the loop about when your meds are done either (via the text alert system, which may not be their jurisdiction so that's more of a reflection on Walmart as a whole), your time, and theirs apparently, would be better used somewhere else.

I always have excellent service, and i get a text when my prescriptions are ready. Wait time typically isn't that long, but if you have to wait a few minutes, there's a bench. Sometimes I have questions about otc medicines and the pharmacist is always happy to give me a recommendation. They also have several different flavors to choose from for children's medicine. It is like $2 more to change the flavor, but it makes giving medicine to sick children easier. It's nice to have the option. I'd recommend Walmart pharmacy to anyone, I think they're great.
