Grand Mesa Lodge

Great hospitality. Rose and Mike are great people! Cabins and main lodge are very clean. Cabins have a rustic feel no tvs just the great outdoors.

Great lodge experience in winter. Warm and cozy and hot tea is super cheap. There is a fire place in the room and chairs around it and beautiful winter views.

In the fall, Grand Mesa has to be one of the prettiest places of all. Beautiful views at the lodge. We brought our camper instead of staying in one of the cabins. The spots to park your camper were a little rough though as they are covered in big rocks making it quite uneven in spots. It was nice to have the lodge right there with a restaurant and small store in case you forgot something. It was a decent jaunt down to the lake, or you can drive down but it is worth it. Lake is still pretty full but you might have to hike a little to get to a decent fishing spot. It got a little chilly but the last day the wind calmed down and you couldn't have asked for better weather. Overall a nice place to stay but didn't give me a deep in the woods away from it all vibe.
