Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Grand Junction Downtown/Historic Main Street

The hotel provides sufficient space for social distancing between customers and staff. Check‐in and check-out process was quick and efficient. Staff was friendly and helpful. Currently, the indoor pool and exercise room are available by reservation. Hotel is located on main street and within walking distance of restaurants, shops and other attractions. Parking is located to the rear of the building and requires a pass issued at the reception desk. They include a free breakfast from 6:30 to 10:00 am. Room included a queen-size bed, couch, microwave, clothes iron, ironing board, hair dryer and complimentary toiletries. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, rooms are cleaned at customer request.

We stayed for two days in October 2020. What you will like is the new, large televisions that they upgraded to since the last time I stayed. The rooms are pretty large compared to most hotel rooms, but they do feel dark. We had a nice view of the town from our room on the fourth floor. The hotel was quiet while we there, but that could just be due to Covid? The breakfast wasn't as bad as other hotels we've stayed at during this time as they individually wrap stuff for you to take and/or provide wrapped items. We didn't use the amenities as I had to work from the room. In normal times, it's fun to walk downtown while you stay here.

Very clean and spacious rooms. Soft and cushiony beds. Has a nice and warm outdoor hot tub for March. Our receptionist Lauren was very kind and helpful when booking a room. Would highly recommend if staying in Grand Junction.

Room needed some updates. Bathroom door had holes in it and the handle was broken, making it difficult to get out of the bathroom from inside. I brought it to the attention of the front desk, but it was not fixed during our stay. I also called the front desk about the phone blinking as if there was a message. She told me to ignore it, but it's hard to ignore a red blinking light when you're trying to sleep. I unplugged the phone. You had to turn on the TV underneath the set - the remote didn't work to turn on the TV. The room was clean and comfortable, but there were a few issues.

Beautiful hotel with an actually hot outdoor hot tub, also my kiddos were able to swim from check in to check out. Nice and informative staff too.
