Renaissance ClubSport Aliso Viejo Laguna Beach Hotel

First let me say that the service and the people working at the hotel were all amazing! The reason for 3 stars is that the room itself was not great.nn-1 star for the toilet. Don't poop in them because they won't flush.nn-1 star for the shower. They do the half closed shower so if the bathroom door is open enjoy your cold shower. They also have awful shower heads that barely rain water on your head.nnThe people that work at this hotel are fantastic. The room itself is not worth it in my opinion.

2 day staycation here was fantastic.nMichael checked me in. Disappointed that he didn’t mention $27 parking per day - seems excessive yet still a five star experience. Requested a room with a bathtub and it was provided at no additional cost or wait time.nRoom was missing coffee maker and water bottles yet didn’t take away from a memorable experience.nStarbucks downstairs took care of coffee needs.nLouise gave me a tour after breakfast as I was interested in becoming a local fitness club member. I didn’t see a lot about social events for locals which would have sealed the deal for me. Still, the cost for membership for a month was cheaper than a month of Resort Pass anywhere else for 2 weeks. Health and wellness are everywhere and the energy is infectious!nI think I counted 5 different areas to workout on a treadmill- 3 inside, 2 poolside! The pandemic opened up a lot of opportunities for outside workouts here and they accommodated really well with use of space and canopy’s/tents.nArturo at the Citrus Grill was great at helping to watch the Dodger game during dinner.nForgot a few toiletries at home and Michael at the front desk was able to provide complimentary.nChris - the hotel operator was polite and accommodating.nHousekeeping staff is wonderful here - everything is clean and tidy!nVery family friendly yet also great for business professionals.nWould definitely consider staying here again.

Amazing place to stay. You couldn't ask for more amenities and is very well kept property! Would have gave it 5 stars but the check in and check out were not fun! Room wasn't ready at check in and checking out was a hassle because the have a spin class in the loading area.

Nice place and service; they set up an outdoor gym for fitness fans; and have a lap pool; unfortunately it also has a $42 charge for overnight parking. About 30% of the nightly rate. Really!? when did Southern California SUBURBS start charging for parking?

Check in was polite and informative.nConcierge mentioned my Rewards status, which is rare.nFood in restaurant was very good. Recommended.
