Leonard Place

Our recent stay at Leonard Place was one of our most pleasurable and memorable experiences. Tom and Marianne were gracious and accommodating, and the apartment--a combination of 19th century charm and modern updates--was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. We relaxed on the front porch with a cappuccino in the morning and a cocktail in the afternoon. Passersby stopped to chat, giving the impression this historic town is welcoming and friendly. We especially enjoyed a local restaurant that served a variety of fresh oysters and a great choice of creative entrees. Another highlight was Bristol’s picturesque harbor, located one block from Leonard Place. Everything was perfection. We will recommend Leonard Place to our friends and look forward to returning ourselves

Wonderful hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The apartment was very beautiful and clean. So romantic. You can’t beat the location - walk to everything. The owners invited us for wine on the front porch where we got to visit, people watch and interact with the locals while getting tips on best things to do.

I have stayed here multiple times and have always been delighted with the accommodations, location, and hospitality. It is a great spot when you are traveling off the beaten path in Southern New England. Bristol is a great town and Leonard Place gives you a perfect vantage to enjoy a great village by the sea.

Stayed here for the 4th of July and had a great time. Tom and Marianne were fantastic hosts and were well accommodating. They made sure all of our needs were met. The place is perfectly located for getting around Bristol. We didn't need a vehicle one time and was within short walking distance for everything that we needed. We couldn't have asked for better hosts during our stay. We would love to stay here again on our next trip to Bristol, RI.

Owners were so rude to our bride. Dog wouldn’t stop barking the night before the wedding. Didn’t give out the wifi. Place wasn’t cleaned or vacuumed beforehand. Chipped paint on the walls. Overpriced and horrible hospitality.
