Very nice and clean. Hotels hospitality was amazing
Immediately noticed the door was super rickety and not made out of real wood but rather poorly situated painted plastic. When we came in they didn’t have a room with enough beds so we ordered cots, cots came in and were ancient, stained and massively uncomfortable. Cots also did not fit in room and required us to re arrange the entire room. Room smelled of smoke. Upon going into the bathroom we discovered the shower was disgusting with mystery black grime and cracks. Only ended up here because it was the closest to where we were going in brecksville the next day and we were all very tired. (side note: while the hotel required masks, the people at the front desk failed to wear them)
Have stayed here for many years for a annual Ohio antique bottle show. When my kids were small, the family loved coming here for the pool and game area. Kids of all ages still love the place today. Old carpeting but good sleeping mattresses. Great breakfast. Nice dining on site.
Here for conference. Great banquet staff, excellent brunch buffet (for a hotel buffet it was truly excellent). Pool / kids area was astounding. Reminded me of family hotels when I was a kid. Other reviews pointed out some dated and cleanliness issues, folks... it's an older hotel.nWe are considering a family reunion here.nVery impressed
I can’t say enough about what a fun place this is, and a wonderful staff they have. We recently had a 50th wedding anniversary party here, and the entire event was a huge success, everyone had a fantastic time, and it was all made possible by the attentive care of the banquet staff, the super-responsive front desk, and most of all by the amazing dedication of the event manager, Eddy. Getting this whole family together is like herding cats. We had details change at the last minute and errors we made in planning ourselves that were smoothed over immediately and everyone was absolutely taken care of 110%. The kids in the family who are local have stayed here before, and enjoyed showing their out of town cousins around the pool, mini golf, ping pong, arcade, and just generally had a total blast. The rooms were very clean and everything was also GREAT value for the size of the event we had, I have zero complaints. As others have mentioned, it’s not a brand new hotel, but what it is is a PERFECT family gathering place and the welcoming atmosphere is more important than brand new facilities. Highly recommend!!!
