Quality Inn

Friday, February 27th Quality Inn at Port Clinton OHnTony and I have never been to this area before so we had to rely on reviews on the website while looking for our hotel. So, after reading over tons of reviews, I chose the Quality Inn on Perry Street in Port Clinton OhnnThis hotel is in a awesome location. The outdoor pool and deck literally butts against the shores of Lake Erie. I booked everything online, blind and I am so glad I found this hotel.nnOur room was on the second floor #204, and it was gorgeous!! There is a entry area with microwave and refrigerator, branches into narrow area with couch (hideaway bed) table and chairs. The bathroom was awesome, a jacuzzi tub and a second normal tub with shower. Awesome!!!nThere is a large King bed very very comfortable only thing needed was more pillows!!!nnThere was a nice flat screen TV with about 40 channels via Spectrum Cable and a lovely sunroof area with table and chairs that looked out onto the deck below and the gorgeous stunning lake which was still mainly frozen!!! It was so gorgeous!!! The view stunning!!! I can't wait to go back again!!!! Definitely will go again and highly recommend this hotel to other travelers!!!

I had the most excellent time and I guess I should thank the Fairfield Inn which is right down the street a few blocks. They royally screwed up my reservation there and when I said is there any place else in the area that might be able to handle what I am requesting they said Quality Inn. So I went to this great location at the Quality Inn and had the best time for an entire week. You must make sure to request room 100 it is outstanding with the most gorgeous view of the lake. I watched the sunrise every morning and started my day with a thrill. The staff is absolutely wonderful spearheaded by the great leadership of the general manager Angie. Other staff members that are absolutely outstanding with great personality and enthusiasm are Tiffany and Wanda and Tanya and Sam and Amber. I had a few problems with my cell reception on my phone which turned out not to be a problem with the phone whatsoever it the location on the water. The problem was with a setting that I was unfamiliar with that T-Mobile themselves couldn't figure out when I drove to Sandusky. Amber at the front desk checked my settings discovering the problem and my phone was a breeze the rest of the week. I am so grateful to these people. I was going through a rough difficult time in my life due to a certain virus that was going around and Cancer and a car accident all within 3 months. So I went for a retreat and to pray and to meditate and have some serenity restored to my life and it happened here. Very grateful to everyone and the entire community of Port Clinton.

We always stay here when we visit. Good rates. Rooms clean. Can get room with view of lake. Also a patio with view of lake.

Attention to detail. This is our 4th time at this hotel. Our room looked to be freshly painted. New Light fixtures and pictures. But, the carpet needed cleaned, there were cobwebs around the window/ceiling area. There were chips under and behind the microwave, and long black hairs in one of the beds. The grounds it's self needs more attention to detail. The outside entrance, had overflowing trash in the ashtray Friday, Saturday and Sunday (not emptied during our stay) . The entrance also had hundreds of cigarette butts around the door. Not a very appearing while entering and exiting the hotel. It also sets the exception as you enter. The hallway carpet could use a good cleaning. During the off season and while it is slow, I would think this would be the kind of things that would be taken care of. It's the cost of doing business. A dirty room is not acceptable not matter what time of year

Excellent hospitality, Angie is above and beyond! Loved my room with a beautiful lake view and jacuzzi!
