Knights Inn Mount Gilead

. not a bad place BUT REALLY NEEDS UPDATE REMODELING. LOOKS LIKE FROM THE 80'S.nNo continental breakfast , food down the road just over the overpass.

I was recently working near Cleveland, OH and was driving home to Southern IN for the Memorial Day weekend when a rod in my car broke and ended my trip. I only had a few options for getting home, and either one was going to take several hours. It was roughly 10 AM, and I needed to get a hotel room so I'd have a place to wait for either of my options. I called Knights Inn (2 PM check in time) to see if they had rooms available that hadn't been stayed in the night before so I could check in early. I was told that their policy was 2 PM check in, no exceptions. I explained that I only needed to stay there about 8 hours until a ride could pick me up. The person that answered the phone said they had rooms available, but check in before 2 PM wasn't allowed, due to policy .... UNLESS, I was willing to pay for TWO nights. If I were to do this, suddenly the 2 PM policy was no longer in effect. So, I couldn't check in early and pay for one night (when I only needed 6-8 hours), but I could pay for two nights and check in right away.nNice to know Knights Inn is willing to take advantage of people who break down on the highway and need a place to stay prior to policy check in time.nFortunately, there was also a Best Western at the same exit (more expensive), that was willing to waive policy for someone that needed a turn of good fortune. Best Western obviously got my money, and will again if I'm ever in the area.n0 Stars for Knights Inn (although I have to give one to.proceed) and 2 middle fingers.

No stars ....bed bugs ..found several sprays under beds.....the lady an woman was disrespectful charged us 25 dollars out our deposit for dirty towels. An now I see why out of a hundred rooms we was the o ly ones there..I will never go back. They pray onyour deposit...an are hotel slums

Not very clean and the owners have nothing better to do but watch your every move on camrea loke everyone is a thief or somthing had my brother come visit me and he no sooner than pulles up my room phone rings and its the owner saying im not aloud to have visitord if he stayed longer than 5 min he was goimv to charge me for anothet person staying with me .... Dont waste your money on this dump

Great place to stay with clean rooms. Quiet and friendly atmosphere. Great price too. Planning on staying this weekend again!!
