Stayed here for a few days at the beginning of October. Cabin was very clean and well stocked. You have to bring your own sheets, blankets, pillows and towels but I like having my own stuff anyway. Fishing wasn't great for us but the lake is beautiful if you just like going out on a boat. Loved watching the squirrels play. Not secluded at all but was quiet.
We loved the weekend at Newland's Resort. The cabins were great. Very clean. Kitchens stocked well with everything you need to make meals. Loved having a campfire ever night. Great access to the boat dock. The only thing I would have liked to be different is on the weekend we stayed, the outdoor concerts across the way we're loud. Other than that we loved our stay.
John's a good guy easy to work with very accommodating
We stayed I'm cottage 3 this weekend. It was a cute little place. It was also very clean. The lady who owns the place was very nice and helpful. I think the price was right. We will most certainly stay here again.
We stayed at Newland's on a spir of the moment daytrip. He was extremely accommodating. We had a perfectly clean cabin for an AMAZING price! We could have put our whole family in it comfortably. Even included a dock for our kayaks. We will definitely be back again and again! Thank you so much!!nJodell
