I visited today as a former tenant is now making her temporary home in the Lincoln Inn.nI recall this beautiful home 50 years ago and am pleased to see the present owners are maintaining the property well. Love the rich Victorian colors.nI rated as a 4 because I felt some user friendliness was lacking in the remodeling.nThe upstairs kitchenette lacks storage; one bedroom, though a beautiful master, had no hanging storage. Even an overnight guest for a wedding or other event ... requires hanging storage.nBut a beautiful home to walk through ... great outdoor space too.
The inn is a beautiful old place that displays a lot of the history of Harrison county, ohio. The inn is quite tastefully done.nTammy and Nip Mattern are great owners and caretakers. They make you feel welcome.
The Lincoln Inn is one of the most comfortable places I have stayed at. The owner was very accommodating. I will go back!
Great place to stay. Living room, kitchenette and three bedrooms. Clean and comfortable.
Beautiful home and great hospitality. Only gripe was that there seemed to be some unfinished work in one of the kitchens which I was not informed about.
