This is a very nice out of the way state park with very nicely maintained campsites. Plenty of room, with plenty of trees for a hammock and the like. No problems with raccoons or any other critters, but it would be a good idea to make sure trash is well out of their reach as they are around. There was a water spigot with good water and the cleanest pit toilet I have ever seen. There were few people there when I visited, so it was very quiet and peaceful.
Awesome as always. So beautiful. Leaves are changing, hurry if you want to experience it. Prepare for cold weather camping.
Very nice park. Hostess was very kind and thoughtful. It being September and the year of the Covid, there are very few campers. Very quiet. I saw a cottontail. Bethrooms are spotless.
The campsites are pretty large and well spread out. There are many sites in the shade or sun with electric or non electric. There is a shared water spout in the middle of the West circle along with bathrooms. Firewood is available for $5 per bundle.nnThere is an advertised (2) car limit per campsite but we had another person (3rd car) show up for the night and they did not say anything about it.nnThe only negative is the Campground Hosts will drive around on their golf cart looking/inspecting and wanting to wave at you every time they drive by. Its a little annoying and have not seen other Ohio State Parks do this.
Best state park bathrooms I've ever seen.
