Andrew at the front desk was amazing from the very start of us booking our stay until check out. He was personable but yet very professional. General manager was there morning until the evening and was always happy to serve.nWaitresses were very knowledgeable and attentive. Food was excellent and was not overpriced. Lobster bisque soup was delicious. The king bed was very comfortable. The room needs just a little bit of spring cleaning but would definitely come back again. Thank you for helping us to relax on our little getaway.nnback
Room was exactly as pictured. Room, hallways, common areas were clean. Restaurant was very nice. Food was delicious and the view from our table was amazing. The front desk staff was helpful and polite. I would highly recommend a stay in this beautiful manor. I loved that the old decor and architecture were left ,and not changed to modern art.
I really liked it here. It was very clean. The staff was friendly. Restaurant was pretty good with unique choices on the menu. The horseradish chicken wasn't that great, but the smoked salmon blt sandwich was good.nnThe pool was nice, not crowded at all.nnThe walls are paper thin and you can hear EVERYTHING in the next room.nnThe registration desk was understaffed. Two of the three times I went to the desk the clerk was answering the phone and the in person line got pretty backed up. It's a small space so social distancing was tough. The way the barrier was at the desk it would be tough to have more than one person working the counter anyway. It's wasn't a huge deal but didn't make the best first impression upon checking in. Overall it was a nice place to spend a night.
Myself and the children enjoyed this place! Front desk was very nice and polite. Great customer service! Cabins were clean and stocked and equipped with the things we needed. I wish I would have thought to have swimming gear because they have a pool. I'll remember that next time. I would definitely recommend.
This location was a cute manor house but didn't seem very open to tours or walking around inside it. We rented a cottage and 3 times in a row, the keys did not work. Had to have maintenance come and do something (batteries for the lock probably). The interior of the cabin was mostly clean but there was food debris on the rug and end table as well as along the edges of the drawers (all sticky on the sides and hard to pull out). Fairly quiet and relaxing however, give or take the traffic on the main road which is unavoidable. Overall, pretty decent.
