We had a great time. Wonderful place to get away. The history is rich and the setting is peaceful. The owners and staff are very friendly. We look forward to visiting again.

The Farrell House is a work of love inside and out . Beautiful property and Doug is a lovely man. It’s a five star place I would recommend it to anyone , beautiful river with trout in it , 70 acres of beautiful land.

Oh my what a lovely get-a- way place. I just absolutely love this place. I recommend anyone who needs a vacation to give this place a try. Serves breakfast and lunch, nice time with my wife.

Let me start by saying The pricing was more than reasonable for what this stay offers! My girlfriend and I made an anniversary weekend get away to Sandusky recently and stayed at the Farrell house/Sunnybrook Trout Club not knowing what to expect having never heard of it. We came to arrive at a long driveway surrounded by woods that had a bridge to cross leading to a beautiful house surrounded by 70+ acres of land with a pond, clear/fresh/cold water streams, corn fields and woods (which by the way is ALL open to everyone staying) It was amazing natural surroundings! The property is about 10 mins from downtown Sandusky. The owner and staff were pleasant, welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. The rooms and inside of the Farrell house were fantastic and laid out perfectly! The rooms had cable tv, bathroom, ac and a great view of the landscape/gazebo.nThere were paddle boats, kayaks, a game room with checkers/chess, pool table and pin ball machine free to use by anyone staying. The breakfast included with the stay every morning was fantastically made as well! I was absolutely blown away by the Farrell house, property and staff! A true diamond in the rough! I would highly recommend the Farrell house for any occasion! Especially those, close to home get always, short stays, and nature/fishing fanatics. Thank you very much to the owners and staff at the Farrell house for such an amazing anniversary weekend getaway!
