Good place to go to get away from it all
Hated people there are rude rooms are filthy price is to high for a bed bug invested place.
My daughter, son in law and my 1 year old grandson had come down from Michigan to surprise me for Mother's Day. I hadn't seen my daughter in 11 years and I had never met my son in law or my grandson at this point. Anyhow, long story short, they were in a horrible car accident (thankfully none of their injuries were severe) they totaled their car. They stayed the night at the Village Motel that night. The room itself was nice. They had a fridge and microwave as well as a nice flat screen tv. The bathroom was very small tho. So the next day they needed a place to hang out until they could get a ride back to Michigan. They offered to pay another night, they even offered to pay over what they originally had paid the day before but the lady said no. Not just that but she also walked right into the room at around 9:45 a.m. to see if they had left. She didn't knock, simply walked in. She wasn't very friendly or accommodating. They didn't even want the room for the whole night. They left for home around 4:30-5 that evening. I feel the whole situation could have been handled so much better. The lady didn't need to be so rude and unsympathetic.

Very clean rooms! Rooms look like they have been redone not that long ago. Great price for the area. Located close to downtown.
