We rented an apartment at the Berea Lakes complex through Integrity. More than 60 days after moving out, we still had not received our security deposit refund. They claimed we did not pay our final month’s rent, however, we did. We emailed copies of canceled checks and after another few weeks we got our refund minus $75 for a late fee for the rent we paid on time. We had to threaten legal action to receive the $75 refund. Basically they made a bookkeeping error and accused us of not paying rent. Seems pretty shady to me.
