This hotel is nice and has all the typical amenities but if you plan on staying here for more than a day I don’t recommend it. The cleaning service here is terrible. If you work for a company that puts 3 people in a room on a rotating schedule they cannot accommodate you. I say this because when one person goes home for their days off and another one comes back to work (they get to the hotel the night before a day shift sometimes) and the room is still dirty and so are the sheets. Even if you were to ask them to change the sheets all they do is make the bed with those same sheets (I’ve asked before) They let you run out of toilet paper. They never refill the tissues, paper towels or dish powder for the dishwasher and they certainly don’t clean any counter tops or the floors. The only thing the housekeepers do is change the towels and take out the trash.
I have not gotten to stay there yet but I deliver food and have delivered there several times to very nice facility clean modern but still comfortable and the staff of always been polite so far
I live in the area and my landlord was remodeling the house and put my girlfriend and I up in this hotel for 6 days. Everything about this hotel was amazing! The room was very comfortable and quiet, breakfast was amazing, staff was always friendly and went above and beyond for us and catered to our special request with no issue whatsoever. We will likely be staying in a hotel again due to water line needing replaced. We will definitely be choosing the Hawthorn! Also, the view is great! We both work in the plaza the back side of the hotel overlooks, so we requested to be on the opposite side of the building on a middle floor. They had no problem doing that for us. And the beds are wonderful! Shower is pretty unique too.
Sheets weren't changed when checking in. Notified front desk. Told house keepers and they went outside to smoke. Approx an hour later room was done.
I stay here with my husband every now and then. He was in PA working for awhile, better than a year, maybe less. He’s back now. I love this hotel and the employees. The hotel is beautiful and I love the mall. I absolutely love breakfast and the conversation with the breakfast employee. Sorry I don’t know how to spell or pronounce her name. These employees do a great job assisting guest, they truly deserve the recognition.
