Great place to eat dinner and take out if town guests. It's a true treasure rich with History. The food is always delicious. I highly recommend the Sauerkraut balls for an appetizer. The service is great as well. I recommend making reservations as they are very busy during the holidays.
The Golden Lamb (diner) is well laid out for social distancing with somewhere around 10 different dining rooms each hosting around 10 or so tables. Plenty of space to feel relaxed while eating. Old century antique decor and prompt wait staff made the experience even better. The food is particular and themed to the antique anthem yet delicious. Overall all great experience!
What an incredibly beautiful place! It has so much rich history and interesting artifacts throughout. I did not stay there so I cannot speak to overnights at the hotel, but the restaurant was fantastic. I ordered a cheese board, lamb shanks, and their signature salad. Everything had an amazing presentation with an even more amazing taste. I still dream about this meal a month later! The price of the food and drinks was reasonable especially for the quality. The service was great, the environment was upscale but still felt casual, and I would recommend to anyone who enjoys great food!
This was my first visit and won't be the last! Everything was delicious. The service was remarkable! Our waiter was wonderful! He went out of his way to celebrate our second anniversary making it an unforgettable experience. Looking forward to celebrating many more anniversaries there!
The Black Horse Tavern is a great place to get a bite to eat and grab a drink. Their burger and a beer night on Thursdays is always creative and the taste is always delicious. They have a good selection of beers and bourbon. They even have a bourbon that they age a little longer in the own barrel in house which taste great. Their new patio addition also looks really cool and I need to try it out.
