Dolce Vita Cabin

The cabin is beautiful with great views all around. You have to follow the instructions or your GPS will get you lost. So plan on arriving with plenty of daylight to be able to find it without much frustration.nIt is very clean on the inside with plenty of indoor and outdoor space for a small family. The kids were entertained with all the games available in the game room. There is a hot tub, it needed to be reset remotely because it didn't get hot. The issue was resolved. The fire pit area is nice fun for roasting s'mores. They have firewood for purchase on site for $5, which is super convenient!nI really enjoyed my time here, the only issue I have was the water. I understand it is well water, I couldn't get past the odor. The cabin otherwise is updated with all the modern amenities. Maybe installation of a water treatment system and a pump system could could address this issue.nThey provide you with a high end space in the woods that is well secured and safe. The place has a welcoming feel it is great for families with children. It is very close to Old Man's Cave so it's a good idea for people looking for a fun outdoor experience.

This was my first time staying at Buona Vita. I’ve stayed at a a lot of cabins down here and I’m a bit jaded. I really wasn’t sure how I felt when I got here. But after one full day, this cabin rose to my #3 all-time favorite. The soaking tub is GOALS. They provide a bit of bath salts, which is a nice touch - but bring your own because you will want to be in this thing often. Bathrooms are A+. The kitchen is the nicest of any I have seen down here, and FULLY equipped. The theater room downstairs is a great use of the space and came in handy during the rain. Great bed linens. Comfy beds. Overall, the place is just PRETTY and super clean. THANK YOU FOR ALLOWING DOGS. Nitpicks: I didn’t have the starter coffee filters my first day, so my first morning was very sad. I bought a box and left it for the next people. Planting some hardy grass in the back will help with the mud and mini-mud slides. Curtains on the bedroom sliders and windows sorta need to happen so it isn’t so creepy at night. I know it’s secluded but I didn’t like the feeling. The living room is nice but I wasn’t feeling it for some reason. Access to the laundry would be nice, but I get it. These nitpicks are being ridiculously critical though - because honestly, the place is kind of tough to cut up. I am 1000% coming back - and next time it will be in this winter because this place SCREAMS winter getaway. Thank you for the privilege of staying here. And thank you again for allowing dogs!
