Friendly clerk and staff with respect for Covid prevention. VERY spacious rooms with every necessity except a microwave. Great rates for what you get, but the television in my room could use an update. All-in-all..this is honestly the best rating that can be earned from me in regards to a 3 star hotel without specifically going out of your way to impress me. Kudos to you all and thank you for your hard work!
Stayed for 3 weeks and checked in and had some weird creamy stuff all over the headboard. Gentlemen at front desk didn’t wear gloves when heating up coffee. Didn’t care room was super unclean. Really cold in rooms as they are a very old hotel and no staff to do work as they must be keeping cost down. Also used phone for a total of 13 minutes and was billed $65, really?? That’s an absurd margin of profit on minimal long distance charges...
I did not stay due to the front desk attendant trying to use my card to take information. The card was put in several different readers and he claimed the card declined, however they were paid through a third party. I noticed he unplugged the card reader and put the card back inside the same reader. He wanted another card from me, but I told him that I would not stay at that hotel, because I didn’t feel comfortable. There were two cars in the parking lot, and the parking lot wasn’t even cleared, plowed. I went to another hotel and a store and there was no problem with the card. Beware if you plan to stay at the Hyatt in Dublin. I filed a fraudulent claim with my bank.
Most staff are professional, some front desk personal are rude and snappy. I've gone 3 times this month with all similar experiences. Other than that I love the rooms and price. Needs more info around room like tv guide, wether if that location truly has 24hr bar,/kitchen is open and if so a menu. Needs a MICROWAVE!!! THEN 5 STAR!!
I used to stay here all the time when I would visit my family here in Dublin so I didn’t think I would have any issues. I arrived at night around 9pm when I walked in to the front desk I stood there for 5-10 minutes and had to yell “HELLO” before being helped because nobody was at the front desk. I asked if I could have connecting rooms so my kids and nieces could play together & be social. The man at the front desk told me that wasn’t possible because I booked king bedrooms. I even offered to pay more. Any other hotel Ever stayed at would work with me. Not to mention one of my rooms smelled like an ashtray. I will never stay here again. The man at the desk was very rude and wasn’t even doing his job.
