Judge's Mansion

My daughter and I stayed in the Project Apartment during a recent mini-vacation to Columbus. We loved this beautiful, historic home and the neighborhood. It's conveniently located and was a nice place to come back to after our daily adventures. It was quiet and clean, and the beds very comfortable. We'll definitely stay here again.

The Judge’s Mansion is unique in its presentation with its 20th Century charm along with the comforts of today. We had a great weekend of celebration and rest while allowing for a diversion from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Great location that’s central to all that Columbus has to offer. It won’t be my last time as a guest.

Great location to the convention center and downtown. Very quiet Street and easy to Uber around town. It was nice to have our own door/entrance. And the unit was spacious and very comfortable. Hosts were fantastic. ud83dude01

We stayed for one night while attending an event in the area. I love that this is set up like an air BnB with key codes and separate access inside the main structure. It is located in the middle of a neighborhood that is being rehabilitated. I don't want to scare anyone off by that statement because at no time did we feel unsafe or unwelcome. This area will be amazing when it is done. There are little diners and bars that are popping up that we got to visit, they are also a must do.nnWe stayed in the Antique Modern Apt. It is has its own living area, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. I loved being on the third floor. The room has window air units to allow you to keep comfortable and we found it to feel very secluded. If you have ever been in an old turn of the century house and loved it, then this is the charm your looking for. The original wood work and floors with the high ceilings bring a lot of character. The bathroom features the old pedestal sink and free standing metal tub (recently refinished). The downside I did take notice to was due to the proximity of the sink and toilet, you may not like this suite if you are a larger individual. You kind of have to slide in. The mattress was extremely soft. Sleeping 2 was fine but we rolled to the middle of the bed. If you were sleeping 1 it would be a great mattress. Parking is street only.nnOriginally when I booked online I reserved the wrong room. Staff was very helpful and got the right room reserved for me (rebooked and issued refund for the original). The refund didn't go through for awhile but when I asked about it they were able to check with the billing agency and get it straightened out right away. Staff was always an email away and fast to respond. They were very helpful and we were able to arrange an early check in.nnI know renovations of these historical places are costly and take a long time. I would love to see this room with a fresh coat of paint and in time a facelift in the kitchen area.nnI would stay again. Since I like to explore I would probable check out a different room. They have lots of options available for the size of party you are with.
