Hyatt Regency Columbus

Not enough staff, if you are having large conventions at your hotel you should be prepared. I went to the desk and tried calling for assistance with no one around to answer my call or help me in person. The facility was nice and clean, great location, it is a shame that the staff that was there were no where to be found and when I did communicate with someone, they were short with me. I'm sure they were stressed from not having adequate help. The stay was disappointing? I was expecting better from Hyatt.

Very nice hotel, attentive staff. Rooms were very clean. Only complaint I had was regarding the parking. The parking garage is about a 1/4 to 1/2 mile away from the hotel. There is a skyway that you have to walk through to get back to the hotel, and beware that the door at the hotel entrance from the skyway closes late in the evening. Only way to access is to use a cellphone to call front desk.

Nice size room, huge towels, clean, comfortable beds. Staff is very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again. It's right in the heart of downtown

I have stayed here in the past and had a wonderful experience! everything and the whole staff was amazing! Very clean and accommodating...but I just wanted to leave a review for my experience with front desk staff member Chris...I called to get flowers sent to my friends room for her birthday since she was staying at the hotel for the night and he helped me in every way possible to try and find a place that would deliver flowers same day and even though I had no luck because it was such short notice and timing (my fault) he still was such a sweetheart and helped me by leaving a card with a happy birthday message from me and a treat for my friend so that she would be surprised when she checks into her room. Thank you Chris for being such a nice person you truly made me smile from the inside out because of your kindness.

Terrible stay.nRoom: realtively small room (king with city view) the bedsheets were overly starched felt like sleeping between sheets of paper. No microwave in the room. The bed was also lumpy.nService: Room service did not pick up the phone multiple times. When we arrived we asked for a crib it was not there. When they came with a crib they did not know how to operate it and it looked like a cage for my baby. Then they came with a pack and play which they did not know how to assemble and needed my husbands help. Then that turned out to be broken. The blankets in the crib were equal to the hospital blankets but harder and crustier than towels. I didnt use any of it.nParking: Parking is not closeby but easy to get to hotel through sky walk but a very sketchy walk at night you can smell smoke all over the place. The entrance into the hotel from the sky view lands in the bar. For all this you have to pay 20$ during your stay.nView is the only good thing but just choose another hotel that is high. Honestly hated everything in the hotel. Just anywhere else would be better.
