Nice staff, decent room
Upon arrival the entrance was nice and updated. The staff was very kind and helpful. We got to our room and after walking around our child’s feet were dark and dirty from the carpet we proceeded to shower shortly after. The shower ceiling was black and moldy. It looked like it was going to crack or starting falling. We then headed to bed where we discovered DIRTY CRUSTY Sheets... we went and got new sheets and as we changed then found the white mattress pad had blood all on it.... the nights stands were incredibly dusty also. We have always enjoyed staying at Holiday Inns, but this looked like they purchased an old old Ramada and did an entry face lift and left the rest.
This hotel needs a serious remodel. The good, the price was cheap and the beds are comfortable and there were both soft and firm pillows. It is conveniently located close to the freeway. The bad, Wall paper was peeling in the bathroom. The pool was filthy and cold, Hair floating everywhere, candy on the bottom and holes so you step on sharp pieces of plaster. The Hot tub was hot and crowded and had a strong oder of chlorine. The "Hot Buffet breakfast" consisted of a muffin and a granola bar. And no one (not even staff) was wearing a mask. The rooms could be cleaner, there was candy, crackers and a sock under the bed. In short, if you are just looking for a cheap place to sleep while pasting threw, this will work. If you are looking for anything more, this might not be the best place for you.
Room was nice, pillows were rock hard. The room was frigid and nobody was at the front desk at 9PM. I waited 10 minutes, called the front desk and knocked on doors before I could track her down.
Decent hotel. However, you know what really makes a hotel nice? Having someone at the front desk. Know what they don't have? Someone at the front desk.
