We were not pleased at all. The room had such a strong smoke odor that the clothes and cloth bag that I had with me all smell like smoke now. The lock on the door was barely working, you had to keep fooling with it to get the door open. The mattress was probably 20 years old or more if you sat in the wrong spot you would roll right off. It also seemed that there was some activity going on that was at the very least questionable- if not illegal.
Rooms extremely need updating, AC never did cool off room. Lots of construction type workers staying there. I will pass next time
At the time of visit 11/3/2020 this place was in deplorable condition. Lobby lights were burnt out and full of flies. The ice machine was humming loudly, filthy and leaking. The room was incredibly bad. The curtains were shredded, the dresser drawers were broken, paint was chipped everywhere in the room. The room was non smoking but smelled like it had been smoked in for decades with chemical smell as well. The only good thing was they offered a refund and lady at the front desk was actually a housekeeper but tried her best.
Such a friendly manager! Our upstairs room is very clean & the beds are so comfyud83dudc9cud83dudc9c Awesome flat screen tv, nice appliances. Located jus minutes from Athens, so convenient! No traffic & it's quiet✌
