Greenwood is a great home away from home. We recently spent a couple nights there and Kevin and his wife Rowan went out of their way to make us feel welcome.nnBreakfast was great and accommodating.
Kevin and Rowan are the Inns new owners and they did their absolute best to make my husband and I feel comfortable and at home for our honeymoon! You are greeted upon arrival by the innkeepers with fresh baked cookies and given a tour of the grounds. The grounds are beautiful and serene and they encourage you to explore on your own time. The breakfast they served was unbelievable both mornings that we stayed. The decor of the inn is lodgey and each room is specifically themed like different gems around New York State- chautauqua, Allegheny, Adirondacks etc. We will be recommending this place to everyone we know. We had the best time and cannot wait to visit again very soon!
We spent two wonderful nights at this beautiful inn enjoying the relaxing atmosphere, delicious food, & the expert attention of the owners, Rick & Leroy. The Greenwoods Inn is definitely a destination on it's own but these accommodating hosts also gave us many suggestions on sites to visit & places to eat in the area. We are looking forward to a repeat visit in the near future!!
Stopped here for the night while on my husband’s birthday trip. Quaint, quiet, relaxing place to get away. Enjoyed wine tasting in the area which was only a short drive away. Beds and rooms were incredibly comfortable ... and the three-course breakfast was truly amazing! Didn’t even need lunch later in the day. Highly recommend!
We spent a wonderful late autumn weekend here. The inn keepers made us feel welcomed and the inn is very nice. In the evening I sat near the fireplace and read and chatted with some of the other guests.nnThe breakfasts were incredible. They were delicious and well portioned. Our suite was large and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. We look forward to coming back here again.
