I went in completely clueless about what I wanted and admit I haven't rode a bike in 10 years. The person who helped me (I am sorry I cannot remember his name but he has a coffin tattoo on his forearm) was well versed in his knowledge of bikes, patient with my questions, and made me feel comfortable in making a decision. I love the bike I purchased. Honestly I would give more stars for my experience if google allowed it and definitely will be recommending Syracuse Bicycle to my friends and family!
I originally bought my Trek back in April of 2020, and regrettably has taken me this long to voice my praise for the team of Syracuse Bicycle. Once COVID hit, I couldn't do anything due to shutdowns and such. With my first stimulus in hand, I went to SB to buy a bike and explore a new hobby. I'm so glad I did. Not only did the sales team help me out and find an even CHEAPER option for me than what I was looking at, but was supportive in my decision. Not only was the original visit top-notch, but every subsequent visit back for a rear-wheel skewer, new cycling shorts, or something as simple as a water bottle has been delightful. COMPLETELY RECOMMEND!
Stopped in recently to figure out how to upgrade the hodgepodge cycling kit I'd accumulated over the years into a cohesive 'serious' road biking setup, inclusive of a more appropriate bike. I'm a solo rider and had some apprehension about making an intelligent purchase and/or making my obvious lack of 'serious' knowledge apparent.nnTo my great relief my experience at Syracuse Bicycle was relaxing and fun throughout. I am positive that I used some terms wrong and was very obviously going through much of this for the first time, but Tyler was encouraging and patient throughout. I very much appreciated him explaining what he personally used and why, and I really felt like I wound up with a setup that was tailored to me. All options were explained thoroughly, but I never felt steered towards something more expensive or beyond my current capabilities. I'll also note that I took several hours to make my way through everything and really felt comfortable figuring things out at my own pace.nnMany, many thanks to everyone at Syracuse Bicycle - I'll be back. Simply a great place to do business. I have purchased many bikes and accessories over the years, and have many times used their service department, and EVERY experience has been exceptional. Everyone I have met both in sales and service has been knowledgeable, polite, courteous, friendly and most importantly has shared an obvious love of the bicycle. Their motto is “ no one can ride their bike everywhere but everyone can ride their bike somewhere “. I’d say “ no one can buy a bike everywhere but everyone can buy a bike somewhere “ and that somewhere should be Syracuse Bicycle
Sales guy, Adam spend a lot of time with us, answering questions and letting us test Drive a few bikes in the parking lot. He was great! Syracuse bikes had the biggest supply and variety of e-bike in the area. I called several bike shops from New Hartford to Rochester NY. I would highly recommend Syracuse Bicycle for you Bicycle needs!
