Great and friendly host, great location, clean rooms, fast internet. Every morning there is a variation on breakfast of a fruit and some pastry along with oatmeal and coffee. When muffins were for breakfast they were to die for. Really more than I've expected from a smaller hotel/motel, and a beautiful area.
Black Bear Lodge is a very clean, quiet location, convenient on the highway. There is a fire pit out back and a trail that leads down to the river. We had a nice stay.
Absolutely filthy smelled like mold no hot water dirty linen no clean shampoos or sanitized bathroom bed smell like people slept in it left halfway through my 139 stay

The owner is a sweetheart, so kind and knowledgeable about the area! The rooms were cozy and comfortable. The price was great! Such a good midpoint for different areas to explore. Will be back!
