Our stay was outstanding. Beth & Sean are very welcoming, attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the dinner. Rooms were super clean and nicely decorated. We're definetely coming back!
The food here is really good. The people who run the Springside are great. Plus, it's a cool old inn. I look forward to a post pandemic time when can enjoy eating inside again.
The room rates are appropriate. We paid under $200/night for a Saturday+ Sunday stay. The food is amazing and the prices are totally reasonable. I highly recommend the fried chicken, which is juicy and well seasoned. I had it for dinner, my girlfriend had it for breakfast, and both times it was excellent.nnIf you stay on the weekend, you MUST get the breakfast. There are several courses, including a cocktail and the tab is completely affordable.nnIf you decide to visit Auburn bear in mind that it is NOT a hopping place. Come with a plan! The Inn is beautiful, but because there are few sidewalks in the area, you should be prepared to drive anywhere you need to go.nnThe town is a short visit from Seneca Falls and the Cayuga wine trail, both of which are worth your time. I hope to return sometime soon, when the world returns to normal.nnA special thanks to the Lattimore family who owns the hotel and seem genuinely invested in the happiness of their guests.
If you're in Auburn NY go to the Oak and Vine restaurant there. Amazing Ambiance and delicious Central NY cuisine. Try the riggies!
