Best Western Plus Franklin Square Inn Troy/Albany

We had a great experience here. Clean, friendly. Staff were super helpful. Great location- you are right across the street from the riverfront and steps to great restaurants and bars. Very walkable. Plus we saw a bunny in the front bushes! :)

In the room, 207, my daughter was staying she found drug paraphernalia, needle. She had been in the room with her children earlier that day and returned once again during the day - nothing was there. Later that evening when she returned she opened the closet and found the needle. She brought this to the attention of the first desk. She was informed that housekeeping weren't allowed in the rooms, so the rooms we're not cleaned! Which is horrible, she was staying there with her children. She asked the front desk to call the manager, she was denied bc the front desk said the manager was sleeping. After requesting numerous times to speak to the manager, the front desk called the police and had her escorted out! This is not how you treat a customer, a mother or any human being! This happened March 26, 2021!

Jerimah is awesome!!!. He is so sweet and willing to do anything for you at any time he is on site. He is amazing when it comes to customer service.He needs his own hotel or a raise. He must love is job and wants to be in a position to be someone. But Krista is a different story, She wouldn't do anything but talk on her phone. She is lazy... The manager was great also, I did'nt get his name sorry, But I had a hard time finding quarters to do laundry since you went cashless then don't have washers and dryers. That is stupid. I was working 12 hours a day 7 days week and had no time off and really didn't want to go looking for quarters. Other than that everything was Good!!!

My husband is at best western in Troy NY, last week and this week he paid 8.00 more and the lady at the front was very rude when ask about the price she told him he can go somewhere else. And no room service and the room he got he open the curtains and the view he got was a brick wall. Would not recommend this place to anyone

Spent one night here on our road trip. Troy was a great stop. Had an opportunity to walk around town after an early dinner. Lots of outside community events happening. Musical performances and an outdoor movie all within easy walking distance to the hotel. Surprising had a very pleasant evening.
