Trek Bicycle Store Cincinnati

Wish there were more stars. I went there today as a novice rider, needing to get some new tires and tubes on a used bike I had purchased. The person who helped me (wish I recalled his name) was exceptionally friendly, helpful, professional in every way. He did not oversell me on the tires given that I am not doing performance riding, and simply said -- without the least amount of pushiness -- that they had a service to go over the bike if that would be helpful. As a new person to biking, I felt welcome, and there was never any sense of snobbiness you might get from other performance-oriented bike stores.

I took an older bike in for repair and spend 250.00 for the repair. They put on two new tires that did work on the older rims. When I asked if the bike would be safe on a trail I was told that the tires could blow. I was then told me the only option was to get new wheels at an additional cost of 200.00. Had I known that the tires were it going g to work I wouldn’t have wasted the money getting them. These guys seem knowledgeable but I question their truthfulness.

Completely satisfied with the experience of picking up my new bike. Mike was incredibly friendly, patient and knowledgeable. He was also very excited for me which made the experience even better. Even though the drive to this store is further than other Trek stores, I will make the longer drive as it is worth it.

My wife bought a Verve 3 here. Over the phone they were helpful and when we showed up for a test drive they were patient and not pushy at all. Once home we realized the tires were flat - 9 lbs of pressure. When I went back to buy a kickstand and water bottle rack they just handed them to me without installing. When I called they didn’t answer the phone even though they were inside with no customers. Contrast to...I bought my bike at Team Cycle and Fitness after this experience. It was so much better than the Trek store plus they stock trek bikes. The care, customer service, expertise were far superior at Team. I wanted to support the store in my neighborhood but I’ll travel to Team next time.

Very nice, capable and experienced store staff. Great work on fixing / upgrading my 30+ year old bike. Looking forward to have them build a bike for my son after the Covid-19 restrictions. Keep up the great work !
