Milltown pharmacy makes every experience of personal experience. We moved into town 4 years ago and they have been are only pharmacy for all of our pharmaceutical needs. You don't need to go to the big Box discount pharmacies to get value this small Hometown pharmacy can take care of all your needs and do it with a personal touch and know you on a first name basis. And if you need it they deliver.

Because of an international travel request, I needed a PCR covid test. Milltown Pharmacy was great at providing the service, but they gave me the contact of a lab that they do not use anymore to get the results. The pharmacist I called right before the flight was very courteous and did his best to get the results, but he also didn't know that they had change from Mako Medical lab to Clarity Laboratory. And although he tried hard to help me, it was all in vain. That meant not being allowed in the aircraft and having to schedule everything again and the the cost of that for business purposes was way bigger than just the cost of the PCR covis test. Finally, the day after my missed flight, I got the information to get the results for my test, and the lab informed me that they were not given my email or any other form of contact, which is why I didn't get my results on time for my trip. The owner of Milltown Pharmacy, Paul, personally called me to apologize and to offer solution for the problem. He informed me that he made sure that all employees were aware of the recent lab change and that that this problem will never occur to any other client. I give them 5 star for being proactive to solve the little misunderstanding and for being ready to change for better. We all make mistakes, but understanding the problem and being ready to change is what make good customer service. And this is the one reason I like to work with small local businesses. If I could, I'd give them a million stars.

Staff is knowledgeable and friendly and it's possible to get a text when your scripts are ready for pickup.

Very grateful to get a prescription filled in less than ten minutes while I waited.nnI am amending my original 5 star review to reflect the 1 star service I received recently. When I requested prescription delivery, I was told the delivery person had already left, and it would be some time before the delivery could be made that day. I offered to take delivery the following day, and struggled to get the woman on the phone to take my credit card info. She told me that the delivery person would call me the following day to arrange payment. I made it clear that was not convenient, and stated more than once that I wanted the delivery to be left on the porch. When I was finally able to give my credit card info, I was informed that the pharmacy needed to delay delivery for an additional day. No reason was given for this, and I agreed because I had no choice. Although it was early afternoon, no offer was made to deliver the medication that same day after the delivery person returned to the pharmacy. When the delivery day finally arrived, I caught the tail end of a phone message from the driver. She told me she was taking the medication back to the pharmacy because no one answered the door. She had no clue that the delivery was to be left on the porch. I was able to intercept the delivery before it was returned, and was rudely informed that there was no notation to drop off the delivery and that the delivery charge would have been removed once the medication bounced back to the pharmacy. Too bad there was no consideration for the customer's inconvenience or any apology given for really bad customer service. I won't be using Milltown Pharmacy in the future.
