Staten Island Home Improvement

First of all, Staten Island Home Improvement may do some minor roof repair and gutter repair but they are NOT a roofing contractor. One has to wonder how the business was categorized as such.nnI have had a lot of work done by Bob Grande of Staten Island Home Improvement (Garage door framing, window installations, kitchen remodel, deck, and yes, gutter repair) and he does a wonderful job. He has left my house probably cleaner than he found it when any project started. He has offered recommendations on my projects which greatly enhanced the outcome of the projects.nnI see there is a review with only one star - - I was shocked to see this until I read the review. There person isn't even reviewing Staten Island Home Improvement. There should be a way for Google to delete reviews that have nothing to do with the business!

I wish I can give 1 star. The owner Jessie is a horrible business person. He was hired to a job he didn't complete the job and he hired another company to complete my job. The company HE hired caused a large tree to fall on my truck braking the window and crushing the roof. Nobody would give me their insurance info to get the damages fix. He would up giving me a few dollars to have everything fix but then ran away when it was time to pay the balance. WILL NEVER USE LA BELLAS ROOFING AGAIN

Review of Bob Grande, Staten Island Home Improvements:nnComplete bathroom remodel--replacement of tub with full tiled shower, tiled walls, tiled floor with heat mat beneath, rearranged fixtures, created a pocket door, replaced double hung window with glass block window, installed light fixtures, fan, outlets, accessories. Extensive work.nnMeticulous workmanship. It took much longer than planned which was inconvenient, however, the contractor addressed several extra issues and did his best to conform the design to my preferences despite his disapproval of my 'aesthetics'. This contractor (Bob Grande) had good ideas on making the best use of the small space. I plan on adding glass shower doors and the installer, while taking initial measurements, commented that the walls are nearly perfectly plumb which he rarely sees. Bob's workers were very courteous, quiet and trustworthy, including being cautious with my dog's well-being. His workers hold him in high regard--a reflection of Bob's good business ethics and considerate character. The final product was worth the lengthy disruption in our home routine and I am very pleased with Bob's fine workmanship and the ultimate aesthetic !
