Extended Stay America - Elizabeth - Newark Airport

The tub is dirty for one. They also advertise free breakfast that they do not have. The bed was not a king size as expected. The receptionist don’t care really about anything you mention to them. I would never ever come back to place. You get what you pay for. Unfortunately I booked and paid in advance for a two night stay and have to stay another night that I do not want to stay for. It’s really a motel in my opinion. Nothing about it would make me think it’s a hotel, I would not recommend and will be contacting management as well.

Pet friendly is fine, the guy across hall had very large dog that was aggressive towards anyone it came in contact with, barked constantly even after mentioned to front desk. Noone camenShower was disgusting, had been maybe rinsed from last guest, found hair was in sink, towels smelled like cigarette smoke, any doors propped open in hallway there was a very strong weed odor, laundry room was a mess, units had not been cleaned in months, had to do laundry, not there, whenever calling down to front desk for plate or silverware they were always out or just had spoons, for a $500+ room I would think you'd get just a little better service. Will definitely not be staying here for work in the future there are options across parking lot that I'll be using, regardless of price

Absolutely disgusted and applauded at the treatment my husband received after booking through Priceline we get to the hotel they ask for an additional 100 dollars deposit and when they ran the card and there system crashed with out providing a receipt they say because they have no proof they can not give my husband a room with out deposit it was all he has the last money that we had available we can clearly show receptionist our bank app that the funds and transaction was approved and funds were taken also email confirmation they asked him to leave or pay another hundred there is nothing they can do although they money is clearly taken out of our account. It’s cold and no where to go heartbroken right now. They took 169 dollars from us our only money and my husband has to sleep in his car

Bed bugs common, AC units are loud. General maintenance is sub par at best. And I've notice in my current stay here on 02/04/2021 that all of the fire sprinklers have been removed. In the rooms and hallways.nThe staff at the front desk are really nice and polite, they try to help the best they can. But it is a cheap hotel so you get what you payfor.

Its OK, they rent rooms by the month. Rooms have a full size fridge, oven and burners, pots and pans etc. available at front desk. They also have a laundry room available. I have just stayed here nightly and the price is usually very reasonable.
