Only visited here a few times, but every time I went I could tell the guys working there actually wanted to help me find the best solution for fixing my bike, rather than to make a quick buck off of me. I’ve had experiences with other bike shops where it seems like they want to try to make the most money off of me for their services. Very friendly, very reasonable, and I highly recommend this place for anyone who needs their bike looked at!

I bought a bike in July, and they were excellent about explaining everything (my last bike was a 3 speed Schwinn in 1966, so I needed to learn a lot!) In October, I went back for a trainer, and in addition to the trainer, I got a great lesson on basics and mechanics. Brendan was really good at explaining everything I needed to know on how to use a trainer, how to transport a bike, what PSI I should use for my tires, etc. He spent the time to really help me understand my bike. Absolutely the best customer service ever.

5 stars without reservation. I am satisfied with every aspect of my purchase. Brian, the owner, let me borrow his personal bike for several hours so I could get familiar with the Jamis Portals (best suspension I've ever felt). - The owners arrange guided bike outings on a regular basis and do a tremendous job of getting new folks more involved in riding the trails. You will feel like these folks at Oyster River are your long time riding buddies!

In the middle of a global bike shortage caused by a pandemic, Oyster River Cycle and Sport was able to source the perfect gravel bike for me. I knew what I was after and was lucky to find a Jamis dealer that has such a strong relationship with their rep. Once the bike arrived, Brian took care to fit it to my proportions, maximizing riding comfort, which he offered as a complimentary service. Having received photos of my choice of clipless pedals, handlebars and tape, Brian graciously customized these details. He even swapped out the tires on the bike for tubeless ones at no additional cost. Brian has a wealth of knowledge about bike maintenance and mechanics, which he was happy to share. I’m glad I found Oyster River Cycle and Sport. I live in another state, but will be back for maintenance and future upgrades. Oyster River Cycle and Sport had clear COVID protocols is place: the shop was well ventilated and everyone wore masks.

Fast service and friendly attitude. They recently moved to 10 Dover Road. 10/10 would go here again for bike related things.
