My husband and I booked a night in Portsmouth as a last minute quick getaway. We were so pleased with this hotel...very clean, inviting, and very friendly and helpful staff. It was nice to see people being able to enjoy a drink at the lobby bar. Everything feels and looks new in this hotel and the location is great to walk to the shops and restaurants downtown.
The town is great, the building is beautiful, however the parking is expensive as other has stated and the walls are THIN. Seems like a wedding is happening tomorrow and my whole floor is shaking from music and loud neighbors. I also slightly upgraded my room to a room with a view... Well the view ain't much besides looking down seeing the parking lot and the two other sides to the hotel. I had super high expectations.
What a beautiful hotel and fantastic location. I'm honestly flabbergasted at the negative reviews. The hotel is very new and in pristine condition. It's SO clean and the design is modern and sophisticated. The entrance with the beautiful fireplace is lovely, and the rooms are spacious and high end. We had an amazing top floor corner suite with beautiful views of the water, and the hotel is in walking distance to everything downtown Portsmouth has to offer. The service is also excellent. Chris greeted us when we arrived and got us checked in right away and offered some recommendations. Very friendly! Would highly recommend this hotel.
Best night's sleep we've had in a long time! So clean & they provide you with everything you need for one night's stay or an extended stay. Walking distance to downtown & the valet parking was definitely worth the extra $5 ($25 to park/$30 with valet). Super friendly & helpful staff is a bonus also. Didn't get to check out the rooftop restaurant but it's on the list for next time! Can't wait to go back!
I wrote a review and can’t find it to update. I just want to thank the manager for fixing our issue. Moving us to a different room so we wouldn’t hear kids above us. Thank you again. This fixed our Valentine’s Day weekend ♥ufe0f❤ufe0f
