Very clean, friendly service, and convenient location. Rooms good size and free breakfast had a decent variety. Only issue (small issue) was the indoor pool, could be a little warmer. Even my daughter, who is a fish in the pool, noted that it was a little chilly. However, if ever in the area again, this will be my choice.

Very impressed with how clean the room was! The shower was spacious and the beds were so comfortable. I forget her name but the young girl at the front desk (short brown hair) who checked us in was very happy and friendly! Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because of the 25$ a night parking. Overall the hotel was very clean and right in downtown portsmouth! I would stay here again for sure!

Nice and friendly staff, a great location. Loved the bathroom.. We had a King suite for the weekend. Was disappointed that the mattress was so uncomfortable. You could hear and feel the springs with any movement. Itbwas a surprise that there was no safe in the room.

The location was good and the staff was very nice. I also like that you have to reserve the pool so it’s private - which makes for a comfortable experience RE: Covid. However, I found the room dirty. There were brown splatters inside the lamp shades, and along the molding in the kitchen area. There was mildew along the base of the shower. I found hairs that were not our families in the clean towels that were delivered to us. Because there is no housekeeping right now the sheets on the bed kept creeping up and off and the mattress cover underneath had dingy stains. The hair dryer did not work. It was also noisy as we could hear the train all night and the walls were so thin I heard my neighbors snoring. Finally, I have stayed at a few Hampton Inn and these rooms were very small comparatively. We got the king suite so we could sleep my 3 kids and normally the suite has a separate bedroom and living room so we can stay up a little after the kids go to sleep, but these suites are more like a small studio and there was no separation at all. It was fine for what it was and we made the best of it, but we would not stay here again.

Easy to get to, centrally located. Easy walk to downtown and food ud83dude01 Best part, got there early and they had parking for my RAM 2500, which is not easy to fit in many downtown parking areas!
