This place is INCREDIBLE! The staff are so friendly and helpful. They have their own private parking for guests behind the building which is so convenient when you want to walk downtown. Our room was spotless! Bed was extremely comfortable and it was fairly quiet at night. Honestly felt more like a home rather than a hotel!
Will probably never stay here again. Had to place a towel on the floor to keep the bright hallway light from coming in under the door. Both nights had insanely loud people walking through around midnight. Staff was pleasant.
A beautiful and historic inn just blocks from many of the best restaurants and shops in downtown Portsmouth. The rooms are smaller, but still very comfortable. They retain their charming and historic feel, but with updated bathrooms and other modern amenities. Parking is ample, and the hotel is easy to find. Strongly recommend!
My wife and I worked during our stay AND brought our 13 month on a trip for the first time. The staff was super friendly and accommodating and it made the trip that much better. I liked having access to coffee and tea whenever, and the location is great.
Another great stay from Lark! Great location - within walking distance to everything. Staff was nice and accommodating - they allowed us to check in early and upgraded our room. Would definitely recommend!
