THE SNOWY OWL IS BACK! I have been coming up to the Snowy Owl my whole life and even though some of the former owners neglected the hotel, We were just up WVV last week and The Snowy Owl is under new Management and Ownership and our stay could not have been better. From The folks at the front desk (Julie is great) and the owners are amazing. Service and Quality was so outstanding and it makes me so happy that this hotel, once again has the magic even better than I remember! The hotel was full of life and the staff is incredible. Can't wait to see where these folks take The New and Improved Snowy Owl
******* Best night of sleep on your new beds, pillows were so comfy, room spacious..... Staff welcoming and accommodating..... Food so fresh and tasty that I had the same meal again the next day! Best chicken pie I have ever eaten........ Best small, crispy potatoes I have ever had........ Desserts were yummy and a very good variety......nnAir hockey as well as numerous other nostalgic games in the arcade downstairs....... The best!nnWhat a weekend...... I will definately be back........ The new owner is amazing......nnDO NOT LET some past reviews you may have seen deter you from heading up North herenn........ It's worth the trip for sure! So many fun things to do in nature for all ages! Skiing, ice skating, fat tire bike rides, hiking, tubing, walking!!nn-- Well done! Had a complete blastnn#SeanWardrocks!
It was nice, clean and great location. Good price. But yes, they need to start updating the rooms.
I would give this hotel and its management staff negative stars if I could. We had to cancel due to a hockey tournament being canceled due to Covid and this global pandemic yet they still think it was ok to not refund us our entire deposit. I would never even consider staying at this hotel ever again. And we play in a lot of tournaments..... way to be understanding of this pandemic we are in Snowy Owl. Awful.
The outside looked amazing, however the rooms felt dirty there was a water leak from up above with the section of the ceiling a bit exposed. I slept in my clothes didn't want to catch anything.
